I think senior portraits are a lot of fun, and I really enjoy getting the opportunity to do them. As you’ll see in my portfolio, my approach to photography is more non-traditional in nature. I’m not the type of photographer who simply sits people in front of backdrops in a studio, instead I prefer working with natural settings. I believe in making the photo shoot fun, (not stiff and awkward!) I like to make sure the location we choose is fun, full of potential, and fitting to the personality of the senior I’m working with. Usually I recommend a favorite park or location – someplace fun and more “you”. I can certainly make quite a few recommendations for fun spots – whether you’d like more of an urban setting, or enjoy nature – there are so many great locations I can recommend! When working with seniors for their senior portraiture, my goal is to make every session an individual art session. I truly mean this – I deeply desire to work with young men and women who want to approach our time as a unique, uncanned, creative session.
Artistic Retouching Included
Here’s the nice thing about what I do – I’m more of an artist with how I work, so any images that I make available for order have been artistically retouched (versus just providing “off-the-camera” images). You’ll get a nice mix of images, from full color to black and white, to other fun artistic renderings. I do provide general/minor blemish retouching with my packages.
